A LIFE WITH PURPOSE
It was never God who needed saving. Never a moment in time where sin had overthrown Him or gazed upon Him in victory.
It was our weakness, the darkness inside of us, the sin that so entangled us – that needed saving. After stepping out of Eden, sin took up room in our hearts. Filling our minds and hearts with thoughts and desires, without purity and righteousness in mind. We had a choice, to choose Life apart from death, but we were so contaminated with darkness that we were blinded to the Light and Love, that longed for us to come back home.
For darkness to leave, Light had to come in. He brought humility where we were filled with pride and showed us LOVE, where we used to believe it was spelled “L-U-S-T”. His justice and righteousness pierced into our hearts and divided right from wrong, opening our eyes to Truth.
And now you are My child, wrapped up in My Son (Colossians 3:4), the perfect image of love and grace. Just as My Son was placed on earth to fulfil the purpose for which He was sent out, so I have placed a definite and special assignment on your life (Ephesians 2:10). Now that you are My child, you are an heir to all the promises and prophesies spoken out to many generations before you. But there is a unique plan for your life. So, although it seems like the world is falling apart around you, I want to encourage you, My dear child, to keep the faith. The words leaving your mouth have power, for the tongue has power over life and death. Therefore, I want you to proclaim every day that you will not go to rest until the purpose for which you were created is fulfilled. Your urge to bring something different to the table is because nobody has ever done it. I have already blessed you with the wisdom and knowledge needed to face every step of the way. The choice to stay dormant for the rest of your life is yours.
Freedom is yours; wisdom, peace, and love are all yours. It’s time to get up and step out, time for the world to see what I have placed inside of you so that they might be blessed and encouraged to chase after what I have planned for them. We have become His poetry, a re-created people that will fulfil the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfil it!
The mature children of God are those who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. (Ephesians 2:10 TPT)
In the same way that a river flows by the current of the source that it was born out of, so should you naturally flow out of My Spirit’s ripples and impulses. Love you, always and forever, Your Father. (Romans 8:14 TPT)
